I did say I didn't want to engage in the usual console vs console thing. I stated clearly that Xbox One could clearly run the game, what more need be said about hardware?

Yes, indeed, it's currently an issue for Xbox. It has in fact been one of the problems in getting ffxiv on Xbox One from the start.

patching the game with my experiences the only people Microsoft can dictate patches and hotfixes is the Microsoft game studios and 343.

Not sure how you reckon that, any game patch or DLC that runs within the walled garden, or comes from an XBL server has been through MS QA and certifcation. You can choose to believe otherwise, but you'd be wrong.

Oh, and just to state the obvious any game on PS4 thst works within PSN requiring PS Plus have almost identical QA/testing/certification.
