LF Roleplayers for Doman/Japanese themed LS!

"Eastern Travellers" is now recruiting!

This linkshell was started over a week ago and currently contains members both old and new to the roleplaying scene!

We dont want to put any roleplayers off who may think "Oh, i HAVE to RP how they've set it up". Each player and their avatar has a unique story to tell so we want to facilitate this for each member. You do NOT have to RP as a Doman character to be part of this linkshell.

Now i could go into HUGE detail, including our lore and other important bits of advice, but why read it when you can come experience it!

We invite all those interested to Plot 31, 8th Ward, Lavender Beds Subdivision to be given a proper introduction to the linkshell and what we have to offer you ^^

The Linkshell is still open to recruitment!

We'll go into a little more info about one of our "Routes" that you can follow upon joining.
NOTE: This LS does not require you to choose a Route before joining.

1: Doman
"This route allows players to follow a Doman/Japanese style for Roleplaying. Within this route, there are a further three Options for you to choose and these are what would be described as your "Rank" or "Role" within the Route. We have "Ashigaru" for casual roleplayers who wish to continue their Adventurer lifestyle. "Samurai" for those who wish to dedicate more time and effort into a more complex RP experience. "Daimyo" for those who also wish to go the same route as Samurai, but would prefer to play the role of Advisor or Official rather than a Guard/Combat route like Samurai.

The reason we keep it within this route is to allow it to be a focused story point rather than just allow everyone to claim to be super powerful samurai.

Now, the Doman route is strictly there for RP'rs who prefer to be dropped into a story or who simply find it interesting enough that they want to try it, Or even just RP'rs who want to be given a backstory/character idea to go with. If you want to develop your own story within this LS, there is the second main route to go through

2. Eorzean
This route is far more flexible in how you choose to play it. If you already have a specific backstory or idea for your character planned out and would like to pursue that, then this is the route for you. Now, Unfortunately as it is a more open route for RP, it wont have as developed a story as the Doman route. This route and its story will be purely up to the player and will have little input from the Doman side except in the instances of RP Events hosted by the LS. However for those who just want to cut loose a little and not be tied down to another story, this is your Route and has no rank/role system.

Now for a short introduction to the Doman story...

After the fall of Doma to the Garlean invasion, Lady Yugiri and her people fled to the lands of Eorzea seeking refuge.
This is the story many of you know.

But Lady Yugiri's escape came at a heavy cost. The many clans sworn to her, fought off the Garlean pursuers to buy her time, the Koyanagi clan, Second to the Yugiri family in power, fought hardest to stall the Garleans, but soon found themselves trapped and their defeat was imminent.
Not wanting his bloodline to die out, the head of the Koyanagi sent his son and his retainer away from the battlefield with orders to flee from Doma and to find Lady Yugiri, and protect her wherever she went. Now, the Son has become the Head of the Koyanagi Clan and he serves Yugiri by protecting and homing any Domans who arrive in Eorzea, fleeing from Imperial pursuit.
All the while rebuilding his Clans strength, waiting for the day to return to Doma and to take revenge.
