SCH stat weights anyone?

Depends on your group how well your stats are weighted, in my opinion its follows this:

1. Crit
Affects damage, heal and your fairy(ss-buff). First choice to max out since it also scales exponentially.

2. Determination
Affects damage, heal and your fairy. Scales linear, however due how low you're on DET naturally, it becomes a better pick.

3. Accuracy
Affects only damage. This excludes Bio II, Bio and Shadowflare and is for Miasma, Aero, Broil and Energy drain. Can only be capped by sacrificing Crit, or DET to reach 450-500, looking at BIS with Savage Drop. Depending on your Group its the better pick over DET.

4.Piety
Mainly affects the amount of adlo, succor and resurrections that can be casted, heavenly dependend on group. My Suggestion is around 750.



Reasoning for this Order:
You're in first hand healer, not dps. While it is true that you contribute significant into DPS, you should lessen the burden of the healer or tank after you finished casting your dots or energydrains, because the spam in broil is only worth 170 Potency with a most likely chance to miss. If you're a good Team, that should allow the Tank to be in DPS-Stance and your Mainhealer to be weaving in one or two dots, which will do a lot more potency than you could possibly put out with just broil-spam. This depends on your group, so your mainhealer/tank might not be comfortable to dps or simply cannot.

An example would be Hummelfaust: You put up all your Dots and the 2nd double Panzerschreck is coming. In that case i sacrifice my fairy, indomability the first AOE, ignore the 2nd AOE and adlo-spam the MT. The MT and mainhealer uses pot and burn the remaining % down instead of your Broil-spamming. to check out fflogs, this is our %, notice how high every healer and tank is.

Which is a common misunderstanding is that your DPS is all that matters, you should let your Tanks and Healer do some DPS if possible, because if you only DPS why not go as a DPS-Class instead?

For me it is acc till cap, then crit. And my question is what would be better det or a ss?
Since for 240 boots and neck we have only ss or det and I'm not sure it's worth loosing 20 ilevels for secondary stats.

I get your reasoning. But right now in raid content whm/astr does at least 70% of all heals if not more, while another 15+% are done by the faery. I do spend way more time doing damage then healing, and that's why I meld for acc cap. While my partner doesn't, his spells are more costly and have a chance to miss unlike mine.

Because of those 15% healing that my pet does, those 5 (1-10) times in a fight when extra mitigation is needed and the most importantly because I actually can drop cleric and heal when shit happens. I don't only dps, but dps is what I do most of the time and that's why I think I should gear for it.

Acc(to minimum or slightly less for food to buff)> crit > SS dots for days and you can slip in broils to minimize clipping with faster casts, spell speed also affects fairies> det (only because det is often paired with piety this cap.)> piety

Shave piety for a dps increase. CRIT FOR DAYS (around 1k or higher if you can reach your SS goals). Have at least 550 ss (my goal is 670 and my bis hits over 700). Use baked pipira and have less than minimum acc or use creme brule. I still have about 50 more piety I want to shave off. Treat X-Pots like a skill and eat them like crazy since they are so easy to make.

Determination got nerfed in HW, so it's much lower value across the board for all jobs. With the exception of maybe blm, Crit is top stat for dpsing across all jobs so far.
