As of the moment we have many items that come in multiple grades and yet use exactly same icon. While the sensibility of the grades is totally another conversation and discussed in other threads already, as things are now I have a request.

Could we have some visual separator in the icon that tells the grade of the item. My suggestion out of bat would be to use similar stars which the cards have. Adding that "on the fly" would not require serious new icon designs, but would yet make them way easier to separate on glance. Items that would benefit from this that come to my mind now are the carbonized materia for melding, as well as glamour prisms, blank ones included.
