    Some ideas here for scholar. I think going with 1 new skill and 4 traits would be the way to go, so:
    62: Increases the potency of Broil to 200 (185 if the trait at 68 doesn't affect Aero, but then there should just be a blank all-spells damage buff instead), and the potency of Ruin and Ruin II to 100.
    64: Aether Drain (90s cd): AoE damage with a potency of 165 around the target (25y range, 8y radius). You get a stack of Drained Aether for each enemy hit (max 5), which increases the duration of several skills (everything but Galvanize should be affected, if possible it should also work on Obey pet skills).
    66: Adds a +3% incoming damage debuff to Ruin, 10s duration. This debuff is spread by Bane.
    68: Increases the potency of all DoTs by 5.
    70: Adds a HoT effect to Sacred Soil

    I know adding the HoT is a bit homogenization, but I think the fact a scholar needs to choose between soil and Shadow Flare makes it interesting to give soil more value for general usage. The debuff on Ruin and Aether Drain should add some dynamics to dps, and Aether Drain should also have it's uses for healing.

    aetheric focus would be awesome and another aether stack for sch too , that would be awesome
    increased potency broil and an AOE ruin (like the ruinga spell from the 13 trilogy) would help keep scholar as the dps healer

    AST- More cards, the ones we have now are fantastic, but I would love a little more variety, maybe 2 more. I also like the idea of having cards that debuff, but I wouldn't want those mixed in with what we already have, it would have to be a separate draw.



    having diurnal provide buffs as it currently does , a change to nocturnal so the cards debilitate enemies (royal road still the same) so for example you could royal road a ewer then play arrow to cast a slow like ability on multiple enemies. as for more cards im not so sure , what did you have in mind?

    WHMs in FF (FFXIV) are considered very offensive healer, due to their connection to white magic. Which is actually very destructive, holy is a spell that can potentially destroy a planet.. So I'm sure they get cool damaging spell and some direct heal. AST will definitely get new buffing abilitites. Maybe double draw? combine bole + balance for new buff etc. Or new cosmo buff. SCH is all about the nature balance, coming from their history, I can see them getting new AoE DoT.. but honestly. SE likes to find a connection between skills and make a new one that is easily accessible. So we just need to bring all the Sch, whm, ast spells on the table and think.. what new spells would be that don't let other skills down.

    Wow that would be so disgustingly OP, I love it. xD

    I hope that they focus on SCHs DPS side if they do ever give us some more traits. As of 3.0, our healing toolkit is amazing but it would be nice for the DPS side to be spiced up a little. Not saying we necessarily need more damage output, just more stuff to play around with. It's no surprise to anyone that SCHs stay in Cleric for the majority of a fight, so it's kind of justified adding something to their DPS.
