Tetra, asylum, and every cure variant are water based. :0
It looks like the White Mage of Darkness uses Enfire in the 3.4 trailer. Maybe they're going to bring that back as a straight damage buff in the WHM 4.0 Kit?
I would love for White Mages to get a holy fire spell... it could function like Holy, but with a lower MP cost while giving slightly less damage, but would give the best PPM out of every AoE spell they have (aside from Aero 3).
BLM= Fire Thunder Ice
WHM= Water Wind Earth
Earth= Stoneskin, Stone
Fire= Fire, Flare
Wind= Physick, Cure, Adloquium, Benefic, Aspected Benefic, Helios, Medica, Succor, Embrace
Water= Fluid Aura
Ice= Blizzard, Freeze
Thunder= Thunder
Dark= Sleep, Repose
Unaspected= Bio, Miasma, Ruin, Broil, Shadowflare, Malefic, Combust, Holy, Unmend, Unleash, Salted Earth, Clemency, Tribind, Scathe
Fluid Aura is literally Water I, as enemies that cast Water I use the Fluid Aura animation. I would like ancient magic equivalents for WHM, so BLM has Freeze and Flare, and should get Burst, while WHM should get Tornado, Flood and Quake.
Quake could be a stronger AoE than Holy but not have the stun effect. Tornado could inflict Aero I, Aero II, and Aero III on all targets in range, long cool down. Flood could be an AoE Fluid Aura but doesn't deal damage, Just knocks back everything around the WHM and binds them.
Benefic does not look like a wind spell. The casting animation is very watery.
Yeah, benefic definitely isn't wind. I wouldn't think it'd be water either. Probably holy or non-element unless Heaven is its own element which is possible.
I would die for them to give us new flavor text stating that Astro spells are "heaven aspected" or "celestial aspected".
Isn't that exactly what it says in the quests? That you're drawing power from the Heavens?
