Question about damage Dex vs. (Str + Attack power)

I did some tests too. I'm going to get a parser to confirm that but the conclusion seems to be the same as yours, and same as everyone here I see.
I first came here because I was looking for an answer to this question: Why we cannot meld a Strength Materia to a bow whereas we can meld a Dexterity Materia? (I noticed KRose mentioned it too)

All these tests could be the answer.
