Useless Valentione's Cards

I have a set of the Valentione's Cards on a couple of my characters.
Is there any way to get rid of these? I tried dragging off, right-click/delete, even moving them out of the way to the last slot instead of slot #1 where they are a PITA (pain in the... butt). They're key items, so it won't let me delete.
Since they serve zero purpose anymore, I would like to be rid of them.

Thanks for the suggestion. I didn't even think about that. Unfortunately, I didn't see anything that dealt with them.

Check you haven't actually got one of the event quests still active (when you hover over the key item it'll tell you the name of the quest). If you have you should just be able to abandon that and it'll remove the key items related to it at the same time

That did the trick. The character I was looking at has a bunch of quests open and the Valentione's Day was lost in the shuffle and I didn't see it.
