I want to go to the Diadem but...

I want to go into the Diadem but it seems that no one plays that content anymore.

What can I do?

Start a PF looking for people and state what content you're going to do, e.g. gathering or farming monsters. If that fails use your FCs workshop and any unused aircrafts to start a diadem run with some FC mates, doesn't even need to be a whole party. Me and my FC mates frequently go in groups of 4, have a couple of us bomb the path to currents as tanks then once the rest of them get all the currents to fly get them to bait things for us so we can get our currents.

what do you do when you have no ships, PF fails and FC is not on when you are ? this is kind of weird ..I want to go to Diadem for gathering, but alas I have yet to make it there.

It is maybe time that developers make a separate entry for gatheres only and give us the currents already and let us gather in there, of course removing the option of changing class mid-way other then BTN/FISH/MIN.

This is becoming ridiculous that only some minority can get there just because nobody else is doing the content, wish it was soloable too, but is not either. So yeah some *elite* for lack of other words only can now enter Diadem.

If you just want to go in for gathering, you only really need one other person to go with you so you can help each other get the aether currents. You do need access to FC airships to go in that way though, unfortunately. Maybe you could put up a PF looking for people with airship access? There may be players in smaller FC's that are in the same boat you are, just on the opposite side of it (i.e. they have ships but nobody to go with them). If you were on Sarg I'd be happy to team up and go in with you. :/

It's not that bad, i have 20 min queues at max. The bad thing is that many people tned to switch to Gatherers as soon as they have fligth but still roll on the loot despite not contributing. But i gues the only solution to this would be a gathering only Diadem, which won't happen i guess.

Fun fact: Given my recent discussion with a GM, if you ask a gatherer to not roll on battle loot in Diadem and they do anyways, it is a punishable offense. Won't solve the problem overnight but it will at least teach people that their greed gets them punished.

I believe that falls under player agreement. So would need to agree to the rules first. But does that mean that combats won't be rolling on any chests the gatherers pop that might have loot in there???

Nope, they don't have to agree to anything. In my case a FSH was asked by me and someone else to not roll, they ignored us like we were silent and they spoke to another FSH (who was passing on loot) and when I reported them the GM said that by them not contributing but still taking our loot, they were in violation.

The messed up part about your second question is that whenever a gatherer finds a chest, the system randomly gives the loot to members. So nobody has any chance to pass or share loot since the system decides who gets what, not the players. Not fair, imo, but that doesn't make it fair for gatherers to take loot from people who are fighting for chests, either.

You can get combat drops from those chests as well. There are chests in the field that anyone can grab. Been in gathering only parties where we got combat gear drops from them with normal loot rolls.

But good to know about that clarification. But I generally just go PF gathering parties.

Wait till round 3 of tweaks for it.
SE has been doing a good job of bring interest back to old content. They will find a way to Tweak it to make it useful/Needed.


If they do a Relic meld step. It may happen.
