Final Fantasy XIV to get Smartphone / Vita support?

    http://www.joystiq.com/2011/10/22/yoshida-final-fantasy-xiv-to-get-vita-smartphone-support-and

Also stated is Xbox 360 support down the line. How do you think it'll work out? Hopefully won't come to 360/PS3 limitations...

i'll work out how its stated, you'll get inventory, mw and other things like that.

Xbox 360 wont happen. No need to talk about that.

Microsoft has made a policy that if any game is released on other consoles before the Xbox 360, they will/would not have a chance to play XIV on their Xbox 360. PS Vita version sounds interesting, that means I can play XIV anywhere outside so I don't have to stay home all day.

By the way, what I believe is Sony stated that PS Vita can play PS3 version Uncharted games but wait and see when PS Vita comes out.

I think XIV will try to hop on the new xbox console like they did with XI and Xbox 360. For those of you who don't know the story, Xbox 360 was newer and still trying to get a name for itself, so they said yes to FFXI, and they felt effed over because you only had to have a silver sub to get on the game, and SE didn't split FFXI xbox 360 subs with them (lol Xbox WHO WOULD?!)

Now the next xbox will not have to make a name for itself brand wise, but it does have a reputation as a mmo killer, it either flat out kills the mmo, or definitely kills support for its console. Even with FFXI Xbox 360 and SE were unwilling to work with each other over the disc read error that would happen causing you either to reinstall XI or to swap out the hard drives and transfer data to fix it.

If the new Xbox console wants to shed its predecessor's shame of being an mmo killer, it would be wise to accept mmos and be open to the world of mmos and not just be attracted to the money they bring. SE specifically said they were waiting to see about the new xbox console, just reminded me of the FFXI port immediately.
