How come the Ixali didn't get grade IV materia added to their daily quests? Despite crafters and gatherers having the highest demand for materia since 2.0 launch. That doesn't seem fair... You guys already shoved the half-baked scrip/specialist systems down our throats and absurd mat requirements. Can you throw us crafters and gatherers a bone?

They did, the problem was they only have enough bones for those with free company housing and airships.

A from SE: Well too f***ing bad, sit tight and keep getting Tier IV crafter materia the old fashion way, until we finally address the housing issues to some degree.

Because they hate crafters. They also didn't adjust steel spoils in Diadem to match brass spoils, or give us a way to get tier V materia like mhachi matter.

Plus actually WE have alot of way to have crafting materia
Either spiritbond lv50 patrician stuff or higher level
Or killing ourself spiritbonding new i170 ring and maybe get a T5 materia

Anyway spiritbonding crafting stuff is'easier than battle one (since you can have only 3 materia instead of 10+ on battle classe)

Do you know how absurdly easy it is to get Grade IV DoW/DoM materia now? I get 12 free grade IV materia of my choosing every day, just from beast-tribe dailies, for less than an hour's worth of work and it's all for gear that can't even be overmelded. On top of that you get a free grade V every week. Now, normally I would just sell the DoW/DoM materia and purchase crafting materia but because it's so easy to get now, their practically worthless.

If that's really easy then how come the crafting's materia is more expensive than combat materia (My server's savage might 5 is around 240k while command 5 is 1m)? I mean, right now combat materia is super easy to get by doing daily beast tribe and tier V from void ark while getting crafter materia is only from spiritbonding and airship RNG. I don't find it easy tho since you need alot of time to spiritbonding whole gear (Also the RNG to get Tier 4). Putting those crafter materia to Ixali is totally best idea to make it fair with crafter.

While you can spirit bond, the only really effective way to get crafting materia is airships. I have a solo FC with 4 airships and even with that it is difficult to get all the materia I need to gear all 8 jobs.

Really, SE wants the crafting community to purchase RMT gil so that gil farmers will continue to subscribe. It's all economics, just not in the way you'd think.
