The rotation I am currently using for eikons and 1651 items:



Thanks to the HQ seafood there is 36 CP left for free usage.

After getting rid of the Piece by Piece the progress is really tight, so the Craftsmanship has to be close to my stats, and more difficult recipes would require a lot of additional points.

Melding is a bit tricky since we don't know the next requirements. Right now on my tools I only have CP melded onto each (with the rest blank) because fundamentally I don't need the other melds yet (and often still don't when the next tier comes out). Often times what I recommend to others is you can plan to do "sub-optimal" melds on a few of your other items and then meld that extra bit on your tools.

My overall melding advice to most right now is meld one V materia into each BIS piece, IV into the remaining garenteed slots and then whatever is reasonably priced into the overmelds and you should be fine for four star crafting when released. I'll have to make an optimal melds, and cheep meld recommendations when four star releases!

Question: what's with all the waste not 2's? It's 98 cp for 3.5 steps. While the 160 cp dura regen still gives you 6 steps back. Doing the math here the 160 cp dura recovery is more cp efficent. I'm in the 2 star world currently (still raising stats) but I'm usually:

Edit: nvm I did some 3 star test crafts and figured it out

Per discussions and testing. The three star MaMa rotation posted in this thread still works for four star. Just be careful to check your progress after MaMa because you can easilly go over on your next x2 Careful synths (and finish the craft early). Likewise the Muscle Memory macro will work by substituting one careful synth with PbP

Not exactly 4* yet.. But figured I'd play around with the macro I'm using for 3* IW..

Apparently the MuMu PbP macro still works.. (Unless the simulator lied again) (Assuming 1050/955/470. Just swap Ingenuity II for Waste Not. Puts you @ 1972/1968 progress.

Been using my rotation for the past 3 patches (No need for WN2 or FS still HQing with only 1930k) I don't know what they gonna do for expansion cause I feel I can carry on like this forever lol

This is what I'm using for making base mats, easy two-hit macro that HQs about 70% of the time from 0 starting quality.

Requirements seem to be about 1022 craftsmanship & 477 cp. This is easily hittable with full CP melds & baked onion soup (assuming you melded for control and hit the 955 requirement), I chose to meld like this & pop seafood stew: http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/VSZC

Yup that is basically identical to my modified muscle memory for four star. Thanks for posting it! I'm also hitting around 70% HQ with it. I'm using it for intermediate materials all the time still.
