Short of breaking off your ending steps into multiple macros you use conditionally depending on if you got an excellent or not, is there any way to build in protection logic into the macro itself? Maybe that's a little outside the scope of what a script can do.. but I was wondering if it was possible.

I'm guessing Precise Touch or Tricks comes into play, if you insert it as a dummy action that only executes if you get a good/excellent, and gets skipped with a harmless "Cannot execute at this time" if not. But I'm drawing a blank as to how that would work in practice.
Basically you use Byregot's Brow two steps before Byregot's Blessing. What this does then is if a good or excellent pops your Byregot's brow will activate consuming the good/excellent in your macro automatically. This prevents you from ever consuming a poor, resulting in much better average synths. This works BEST when you have one extra step inbetween your Greaterstrides (innovate or ingenuity) so the Byregot's is always under greaterstrides aswell. My new macro using this can be seen in the thread here: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...including-i190

    /ac "Great Strides" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Byregot's Brow" <wait.3>

May I ask which cross class skills are adviseable when not on gsm using this rotation?

EDIT: Nevermind, I found your google document. Seems like the best skill to leave out IF you want to use ToT is Reclaim, bit of a mess but what can you do.

Tried out Rath's rotation today on some new 3.3 items. It looks very doable on an unmodified rotation however you might need to start with at least 1500-2000 quality if you want to hit 100% with a window of maybe 2 missed hasties.

In my experience you might want to reclaim if you miss 3 hasties if you really want 100% hq then just botch it unless you have a high starting quality. If you can get a ToT in to use an Inno at the end it might be enough to compensate bad RNG.

I pretty much concur. This is why I advice simply starting with 3000 quality allowing you to miss three hasty touches on the new i190+ items. I also have loaded reclaim as these synths are a bit more intense, and I've had some horrible rng starting off. I like having innovate loaded more as its easier to push an 80-90% to 100. But with back to back 5-6 missed hasties on one day... I had to make the flip. Irony of coarse is I haven't had a single missed hasty sequence since that day. Hurray for RNG.

I know this is off-topic but how do you get those awesome pictures to go with your rotations?

    From http://ffxiv-beta.lokyst.net/#/simulator

Its the most accurate tool online I'm aware of for crafting simulation.

Want to share a rotation i'm working at for a while now:

Basically finishes 3star mats way faster with a decent HQ chance.
Unlike what the simulator suggests, it actually finishes the craft.

    (Simulator) CS under IngenI 164

    MuMe 544
    PbP 365
    CS under IngenI 204
    544+365+204+204+204+204=1725 Progress.

    Hope it helps.
    Cheers,
    Maria Nyan

EDIT: Basically a modified version of your MuMe+PbP Rotation but unlike simulator suggests it works.

An alternative if you don't have the craftsmanship requirements for the above, it does require more CP however

You're basically coming closer to a rotation my friend and I worked on. Its on the first page but I should have created a separate thread for rotation. It also works on the new i190 with 933+ Craftsmanship.

MuMe PbP (1-3 Star Max CP) - Required stats 874 Craftsman and 446 CP (Character base stats 846 Craftsman, 398 CP and HQ Baked Onion Soup):
