    Additionally, if you like to play around with it to see, you can test it using a 2star item (since Ingenuity is broken for 3star at the moment). Use the exact same sequence, but subtract 2 FS. Check out the potential quality with Innovation instead of Ingenuity 2, and also compare at various stacks of IQ (remove some HTs).

    On the macro/picture I posted the answer is yes you need that much progress for three star (as the picture is showing a 1 star craft). For one star you can use an alternate end macro and skip one Careful Synthesis. I have to use 1 or 2 star pictures sometimes because the ingenuity calculation is wrong for higher star goods. I should work with the dev on the issue but not enough time ;-)

    I am looking into trying to help update it. Basically the situation is, the dev hard codes in each craft level's reduction for Ing/IngII.

    This continues to work with the new harder i190 three star recipes. But you'll want some extra progress (I would say 3000 is probably ideal). I made a few items with starting quality between 1000-2000 with left over materials, but those synths were a bit intense (reaching 85%, 90%, 100% and 100% on fourth synths). Also there should be enough extra flawless synths that you should not need any change in your progress.

    My wife and I really appreciate your work, Katlyna. With your guidance, and those other like Roth that contribute to our community, and a little bit of scrip and carbonweave bootstrapping, we are now both in Ironworks chest and cap, and will get the legs and sleeves made tomorrow.

    Having L60 omnicrafter alts is paying off, although it will a few days until we make Ironworks gear for them - Esoterics and Moogle mats will probably be our limitation (no time for Duties, too much gathering and crafting to do). But right now, we only rely on my wife's alt as our Alchemy specialist, and that only needs to be 2-star capable, which was easy.

    Making this new gear tier seems a lot less stressful and time consuming than 2-star was. I'm looking forward to making four of the 190 crafting sets (we and our alts are omni-gathers too) next!

    Yes I'm still using my modified version of Rath's rotation. Its still what I consider optimal for the hardest crafts.

    I upgraded all of my accessories (jewlry) and have started on MH and OH due to the stat boosts for each. Between my alt and my main I don't have leather or wvr so this made the most sense for me. Also I am not in a hurry so plan to start gathering the items for my left side when I do switch so I can switch right back. My wvr/leather friend decided to go on break

    This patch hasn't been bad just a little lackluster for myself but I am derping along!!!
