    Unable to download patch files [30413] [25008]

    Tried repeatedly, and it always picks a different point (but never even makes it to halfway) to throw the error

    Unfortunately, while a google search shows information about 30413 being a port forwarding issue (which is a dark comedy, since I'm not behind a router), I have no idea what 25008 even is. A little help please? Or an alternate download location? Patching from square always seems to be iffy, at best. I followed the advice from

    Or at least to the best of my ability, as there is no router. I reset the modem though. I made sure ffxiv was allowed in windows firewall. I rebooted with nothing else running. No change.

    Honestly I found 3.2 a pain to update too, it took days and a hard drive change to make it happen. As I'm not really interested in the days it takes to reinstall and try that, any actual solutions? Any information on what the heck 25008 is, at least?

    Hi, I've also had [30413] some time ago, and [25008] looks familiar.

    You should be aware of what the typical 'always try this' solutions are: running the launcher in compatibility mode, running the launcher in administrator mode, going to Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn\FFXIV_BOOT.cfg
    and changing BootVersionCheckMode 0 to 1, and of course everything on that page. I don't believe any of that had any effect on my case.

    For me the two independent things to work around it were

    * to start the download in the morning in Atlantic Standard Time (around 5-7AM GMT-4, when people are asleep or going to work), or

    * to use Pingzapper.

    im having same problem 2 days now but mine is [20512] and [25008] i play on ps4 and in central time any suggestions for me?

    Yeah I'm getting this too.

    Played the trial on the PS4, decided I was going to get into it so bought it for PC. That was nearly a week ago. Between these errors, and the patch coming down at 0.02 Mb/s it's going to be 7-10 days if I'm lucky from buying the game to being able to play.. as long as it doesn't error out again

    That'll turn a guy off fast
