Novice Network bot invasion

I don't know about the other servers but in Odin we've encountered this issue with multiboxing and RMT bots filling the newcomer section of our Novice Network.
Not only that but they are also taking space in the player capasity of the server.

Our only solution so far has been clearing the channel by kicking out the potential bot candidates. But as it turns out the kicked newcomers will automatically come back in 30 minutes.

I just wonder if there's a solution to actually stop this loop from going on.

Well i guess the RMT bot master (the mentor that is inviting all the bots) needs to be found and dealt with.

Yeah, I had suggested letting mentors know when a new novice was invited and by whom (same as for kicking) so that we could better handle this. No resolution yet.

It's not like this by default? Darn. Yeah a log of some sort would be a nice quick fix so the players (mentors) could solve matters like these quickly, and then report the bot master so GM could take further, more advanced, action.

He was not saying the novice was not RMT, but rather the mentor inviting them was likely a troll, not a "Master RMT".

There are also Mentors who just run around inviteing any and every leaf they see with a macro and don't bother checking if it's a real player or even talking to them.

You can player search for people with the sprig leaf, and it will bring a list of every new player on the server. So they don't even have to run around. Just go down the list inviting.
