Housing Item Cap Increase for 3.2?

I know it was said in another thread that Dev's were looking into increasing the item cap for housing.

Could we possibly have this for 3.2?

With new furnishings coming out in 3.2; Orchestron being the biggest one, a lot of people don't have room and most have empty floors due to the fact that they want to save room for new items that are coming in 3.2.

Theres a lot of things I still want to place in my house but I'm coming up on the 200 cap (I'm at 198/200) and there is still a bunch of empty space in the house.

Also how much of an increase on the cap will you be putting in?

Just an update on this.. I had to remove stuff from our walls and smaller objects in order to be able to do something with the other side of our second floor. We've reached the cap and our house still looks fairly empty with nothing on the walls and no plants inside or anything.

What makes a house in FFXIV; or in general anywhere, is the little things. Small details or plant life added to the scenery. It's like painting a picture, the smallest details make the painting great. But as it stands now the 200 item cap for Larges, 150 for Mediums, and 100 for smalls is too little.

Please SE, give us a sign that you're looking into this for a coming patch.. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Kind of wish they'd up the cap for outside furniture too. It's what, 20? That's nothing :/ Especially when a garden, teleport, chocobo stables and mailbox count for 4/20

I believe they also said new and old wards will have more plots added, and the apartment buildings, and indoor gardening pots.

I hope that when they increase item cap it also gives us access to our mansion balconies and we can decorate up there as well.

For a large it's 40. D: And our yard is still seeming barren.

I agree on this - I had to take down a lot of small things (books, plants, lamps...) in our FC-house in order to place some of the new furniture... and everytime I walk into the house I noticed how much those little details are missing.

While I would LOVE an increase of the item-level I would also like to see "combined" furniture, like a table with 4 chairs=one item (and not 5 like it is now) or those walls that you can place with the matching pillars already attached (specially the oasis-wall CANT be placed without a pillar, wohoo, another slot gone!)

Yeah combined items would be nice. But I like the ability to position the chairs how I want. Though what I would like to see is 3 different stage furnishings (small, medium, large stages). For a lot of the FC's that like to put a stage in their FC's; this is a real space killer.

Frankly, I wish they fix housing first THEN the item cap inside the house.

Pretty pointless to upgrade the cap, when only like 10% of your server can obtain said houses.
