When 3.0 was being sold to us (prior to launch) Yoshi-P made comments regarding chocobo leveling beyond level 20.

What is the current situation regarding this considering that with the add of the Non-Mind, we are being provided with ways to potentially max our chocobos?

With the creating of side story content:

The 2 new adventurer's guilds

Will we see any potential for expansion off of a (to myself anyway) lost storyline which is the actual adventurer's guild?

I know that many seem to see it as also part of the storyline related to the Scions, to me however, it was the basis which we left helping out the city-states locally to aid the Alliance instead (the Scions storyline).

When're we gonna get an option to make our butts bigger

What is the current discussion regarding this and/or are there any plans to implement these extensions prior to 4.0?

My Question: At current we are seeing a very linear progression of gear & item level. While it works, it offers little in the way of diversity and choice. (Only "choice" being avoid the excess of stats: Parry, Skill Speed, Spell speed etc and feel sad that DET and CRIT don't really have that much weight). Are there plans to incorporate new unique armor bonuses? set bonuses, unique skills multiple playstyle supports? i.e WHM Body Armor adds the "Refresh" effect at potency X. or Having 3 pieces of the Ninja Koga set grants extra debuff bonus to ninjutsu etc. Items that help cater to a certain aspect of a job more than another... One loadout could support the regen side of a whm more while deducting from its raw upfront healing (just an example)
