How Active is the Server?

Hi there,

A few friends and I were looking to have a fresh start on a new server. I was just curious to see how active the Coerul server was, we are just looking to play casually, pug dungeons, and enjoy the levelling experience.

Would love to hear from you guys!

Edit: I guess to be more specific, I was wondering if there is a decent population that is active doing fates, duty finder and such (is the wait really long?), and if there are still people doing old content raids.

Old world content isn't terribly active and for the most part, people here doing old world raids are doing them at level 60, so I wouldn't suggest coming if you were wanting to do coil or something synced.

I have an alt here I use to communicate with old friends at times when new content is released and I've come to notice it is only active when new content comes out and then dies down very quickly except for a few active raid groups. Coeurl probably has apprx eight or so active party-finders at peak times and a measly one or two when not very many people are online.

dont waste your time here,endgame is filled with snobby wannbe elitist,trolls.unless you have friends here dont come.most peple are only on coeurl bc of the time they they investedin aka fc houses etc..midgardsormr is fun,nice people,lot of helpful fc's big and small,im in desu fc on migardsormr.people always looking for stuff todo

Hi there Wylfred! ^^ Our server is pretty small for a server and some have had some bad experiences with some of the end game players here but the community as a whole isn't bad at all. In fact the only reason i'm still here is because of the community, I don't think i could leave all the friends I've made. Had a lot of new people who joined the game recently enjoy the community here. They have all said nothing but nice things! If you do plan to come here please look me up in player search, i really enjoy meeting new people and helping peoples!

Hi! Coeurl has been my first and only server for about two months now. I've had (for the most part) nothing but good experiences here. The one bad experience I did have became a good one in the end. In my short time on this server I've met tons of nice and friendly people. I haven't gotten into any Heavensward content yet, so the most FATE activity I've seen has been from Coerthas. I don't run dungeons often, but queue times are nice for Tanks and Healers. I've yet to queue alone as DPS so I can't vouch for those times, but I haven't heard the best.

If you guys want to meet people to hang out with, stop by the tree in Limsa's Aetheryte Plaza. A lot of really cool people tend to hang out there!

Hi.

I've been on Coeurl from sept. 2013 to November 2014.

Of course this is a small server but it has the most friendly and warm people i've ever seen in any MMO.

Best social experience in a video game so far.

I left Coeurl for bad reasons a.k.a. time zone issues and following people, and it has been a complete disaster. I almost left the game lol.

If what you wany is finding kind people to play with them on the long term I could recommend:

Coeurl. Hands. Down.


(Also it is better to have 2 PFs up filled with nice players willing to try hard, rather than 30 PFs full of snobs who will disband at the first wipe. Even in terms of progression Coeurl does not suck. At all.)

Don't come, I hope you all haven't. I would choose a much higher populated one unless you're migrating because of the fact you don't/didn't like the one you all were at. I've come to expect that there are two types of Servers, The overcrowded ones everyone wants to go to, so to find better players, and small ones where the leftovers are. Our Server is a Leftover Server; I doubt you'll find your wanton "Medium Sized Server." Those are a myth and you're better off just going to Gilgamesh or whatever other servers have high traffic volume. I'd steer clear away from Coeurl.

Ohhhh, Coeurl isn't so bad. Don't listen to Kein. Sure, although it may be classified as a medium pop server, there isn't as much activity as you would expect if you were originally from one of the bigger ones. It really is true that this is a 9-5 server, meaning that the dead periods are super early in the morning and the early afternoon when people are in school or working.

I like to consider this place a nice, small community where everyone knows each other and we all have a laugh. Of course there's gonna be the few that may irk you now and then, but that's everywhere. If you choose to come to this server, visit us with a sense of humor and don't take everything seriously like a personal attack. I wave hello to the same FC everyday in the Beds as I travel to and from the MB. I see the same faces that farm content together. And I can always count on my linkshells to give me a good laugh every day.
