    Where are the craft weapons?

    More than where, the correct question is, why there are no weapons to craft?

    On ARR, we had weapons for every craft tier. 55, 70, 90 110, even primal themed weapons iv95.

    On Heavensward, there are no weapons after the iv150 ones. We have sets on 160, 180, 185 and 220 item level, but no weapos for them. I don' undestand why drop the craft weapons.

    Maybe they try to make more people go Sephirot or other primals to get the weapons? I wasn't a issue on ARR, now, why not add craft weapons?

    This is just curiosity. They was useless on ARR or something?

    I'm curious about this too as there's also no lore tome weapon this time. I'm still stuck with my old weapon with no chance to upgrade it unless I run Sephirot ex which is not going to happen...

    there is technically a lore tome weapon, you just need to gather 7 weekly gears from a8 as well as lore(which you need around 1000)

    The crafted weapons were more or less always glamour items and never used in actual content. They released i110 the same patch that FCOB came out by then there were already 2 i115 weapons out making them useless for FCOB progression as WD>everything else.

    Because of how weapon damage operates in this game, if say they released 220 weapons along with the sets, there would be no reason for 95% of groups to even try Sephirot extreme. It would just be a little counterintuitive and considering how easy all weapons below 220 are to get currently, most players wouldn't necessarily be interested in trying to have them made.

    the point though is why even have blacksmith at all if they never make anything relevant?
    they could have just as easily put in some 215 weapons so blacksmith at least has something instead of nothing at all

    They do make the majority of both the main hand and offhand tools for DoH and DoL, which are certainly relevant for those classes.

    They also allow for the melding and repair of non-crafted weapons.

    Yes. I was thinking the same. Now is quick get a primal weapon. pre 3.0 you had to farm a primal and hope for a weapon drop. Now if you down 10 times, you have a weapon.

    But also, yes, it makes the crafter Blacksmith mainly less relevant. And also limit a bit the number of weapons in the game and versality. Thing is, how to balance the difficulty of craft the weapon compared to down the primal. I think this is the problem.

    I wish they'd go back to putting these in.

    Having one fight be the only avenue for a solid starter weapon for raid content is a strange bottleneck, especially when there are two avenues for 220 in the rest of the slots now.
