Just updating the first post.

We are now an FC of about 5-6 regulars.

Most of us have cleared Coil Turn 5.
Most of us have cleared all Primals except for Shiva.
Currently working on farming Shiva, Ex ponies, and Coil stuffs and leveling alts and just having general funnery until the expansion

Really looking forward to all the new things in Heavensward!

Thought I might as well make one of these recruitment posts.

I have nothing to brag about, though.

We do not have a house, we're only rank 4 so we can't even purchase land yet.
But we will... one day we'll have a big house. Even bigger than that one!

And we're not up to high level raiding content... yet.
My wife and I like to play and move ahead when we have time. We're up to level 50 with our first classes, but not much beyond that.

We do, however, like to help out with anyone who wants help.
Trying to get into a dungeon and it's taking forever? I'm a tank and my wife's a healer... that means instant queues!!

We don't have raid times or any sort of structure. We just like to log on when we can and play whatever we feel like. Sometimes that's beast quests, sometimes it's dungeons, sometimes it's crafting.

I suppose you'd call us a laid back, casual FC. We certainly do want to do everything the game has to offer... we just don't want to have some sort of strict schedule on "having fun." Maybe at some point it will be fun to get together at certain times... maybe we'll just see you in the game.

What we definitely won't do is tell you how you're supposed to play the game.
If you're not having fun, you're doing it wrong!

Nice to meet you. I'm not interested in a new FC, but I'm online from time to time. I play as a bard, or a scholar (scholar gets me fast queues, whereas bard is my true focus). Hit me up if you want a dungeon buddy

Raven’s Nest just hit rank 5!

Now we can use company actions, which are really fun. We’ve been using the 10%-added-experience-to-companions to help us level our chocobos as we run through some beast questing.

Anyone looking for a simple FC focused on having fun is still free to join.
Including my wife and I… we’re up to 2 whole members. We’re taking over this place!
With both our ‘bos out we can imagine we’re a light party! 

Raven's Nest is now up to Rank 6. We can buy land!
We only have 7 million on our way up to 20, though... so not quite there yet for our mansion dreams. But, it's coming... maybe next year...

This is just an open call to any players who want help running dungeons or anything.

Don't feel like you have to join our Free Company, even... that doesn't matter. Wife (Oz Raven - Healer) and I (Cold Raven - Tank) just like to help out, but it's difficult to know if someone wants help or if they just like to do things on their own.

So... if you're looking for a hand on any dungeons, feel free to message me in game (Cold Raven). If we're on and don't have to leave soon for life-stuffs we'll help out with whatever we can.

We are better for helping out on low-level dungeons and trials but don't mind attempting higher level stuffs.
We have completed Ifrit, Garuda and Titan hard modes.
As well as the Crystal and Syrcus Towers.
...but that's about it for higher-level content, we're still on our way ourselves

My gf and I are very simliar to you and your wife in that we have our own little free company (just the 2 of us) and we play rather casually and just want to enjoy the game and its content. We been doing beast tribes, hunts, leveling dif chars, roulettes, crafting, gathering, etc, etc - whatever strikes our fancy that night. We're both on usually for a few hours every evening (eastern time).

We just finished Praetorium (sp?) recently and we both have most of our i90 gear already ( yeah for Allied Seals ! ). I main a Pally while she runs a Black Mage. We both would like to make some friends and party up with to run dungeons, quests, fates or whatever. We're both PS4 players, but have keyboards for general chatting when we need to (voice works sooo much better imo !!!)

Beast tribes take so much commitment... we finally completed Sylph and Amal'jaa a while ago and are now working on Sahagins and Kobolds. I just want a floating bomb-chair thing.
And now there's Ixali! It never ends... but, I suppose that's kind of the point?

Nice! My wife and I ran a few of those (and the other initial 8-man dungeon). They were... confusing... with everyone wanting to run through them as fast as possible. But pretty fun, except I still don't fully understand when to fire the canons on that last boss

We're pretty much at the same level. Wifey and I did those, then the Primal Hard Modes (Ifrit, Garuda and Titan) to get some weapon upgrades. Everyone in Duty Finder still seems mostly cool. But there are slightly more "learn your class!!" jerks flying around if you don't do something exactly the way they think about it in their head... which is sometimes difficult to guess Anyway, now we're running Syrcus Tower for gear (she wants the WHM robe, I want an Unidentified Allagan Tombstone for another weapon upgrade).

We're both PS4 players, but have keyboards for general chatting...

Yeah, us too. It's a pretty slick way to play the game. Controller works very well as long as you set the right features. I find it much more comfortable than a PC. We do tend to have a laptop around, maybe one day some voice software on that or something, but so far the keyboards are good enough. This is the first MMO either of us have ever played, so we don't have any other background.

Eastern time is the best time!
We have the same kind of schedule. Except for this week, and the next 2-3 weeks or so. I play some rec-league slo-pitch which is usually a game or maybe two a week. But we had so many rain-outs this year they're trying to get them all in and now we're playing 4-5 games a week... so much time. Plus we're going on vacation for 2 weeks starting in September so we'll be gone then.
But apart from that, we usually log in once a day for crafting-grand-company-turn-ins and beast-questing at a minimum.

Back from vacation and into the game again.

Raven's Nest has now completed Garuda Ex.
We then realized we did not have to do Titan Ex or Ifrit Ex in order to do Leviathan Ex.
So... we jumped right into Leviathan Ex.

After reading some guides and a few, um... I guess "disastrous" is the right word... initial attempts, we are now Leviathan Ex experts!

Well, mostly experts, anyway. We can dodge and stay on the platform no problem now. I just haven't quite memorized every time required to hit the converter switch yet. But, as I tank the tail or head and Oz heals the party... that's not usually our thing to get anyway. DPS generally seems to take care of it.

Raven's Nest (Oz - Healer and me - Tank) are currently farming Leviathan Ex. Anyone looking to do the same (or learn the fight, even) are free to send us a Tell in game and we'll try to hook up and get what we need.

Oz already has her Levi Shield.
But we're also looking for her Levi Wand.
...and two mirrors.
... and maybe a barb for the barding, too, why not?

Lot's of Levi Ex for us in the future! Come and join us any time.

Our FC is now up to Rank 7.
We almost have 15 million saved up for our mansion... looking at a purchase around Christmas, I think.

Our FC has almost doubled in size!
Where there was 2, there is now... 3!!

My wife (WHM i99) and I (WAR i100) are now experts at Leviathan EX. We got her the wand and shield she wanted. Although those mirrors still elude us. As they probably will until they do something about the drop rate (which I'm hoping will happen in patch 2.4 as their iLvl gets further and further away from top-level gear).

We are, however, ground stompingly stuck in our tracks at Coil 1, Turn 5.
We're quite good at phase 1, 2 and 3 actually. But that's generally where Duty Finder trails off. We've got close but never even seen a twister or a dread knight.

If anyone's out there with a group of a few who are willing to pull our sorry little faces into Coil 2... we'll be forever grateful. And we'll give you... um... a shrubbery!!! Maybe. It's pretty nice, I might just keep it for myself.
