The deleting friends issue..

I think the worst side-effect of this is that you can't send another friend request if you accidentally delete said person off your friend list. Well, you can, but your friend won't receive said request because you're still on their friend list. =/ (Same if you or they move to a different server and then change minds and move back.) Not unless the friendship is "ended" from both sides first. And sometimes, especially if one side of the friendship is slightly OCD, that's tricky. (I.e. friends are listed in order of being added, meaning if my very first Eorzean friend were to unfriend me for some reason, and then wanting to be friends again, if I remove said friend they'd no longer be counted as my first Eorzean friend, but rather my latest. And while stuff like that might not be too important to some people, it can be very important to others =/ )

You'd think that if you send a friend request to someone who has you on their list already, the request would be auto-accepted, but no. For some reason it gets auto-declined instead ^^;

Reason I haven't put anyone on my friend list on the server I'm in. People are quick to throw friend invites for various reasons, but experience has taught me that crazy doesn't manifest immediately. I'd rather not deal with potential stalkers in this game, ha.

Yes, I know I'm being paranoid but that's due to years of experience with official and non-official RP servers. I circumvent this handicap with Linkshells though, so I'm not a complete recluse!

So the takeaway from this is: READ THE POP-UPS!

I mean maybe I'm just way too attentive, but still (I have to admit, for Leviathan for example, I don't use visual cues to work out where I need to go, I use audible cues - surround sound is a godsend), I pay attention to stuff like that.

There's so many pop-ups in this game, though. It's so easy to just auto pilot through them. :x

What I want to say about this might be a bit off topic but I HOPE a mod is reading this.

Can we please add a multiple delete option? Cause at the moment when you delete someone the list of friends refreshes and it takes forever trying to delete more than 100 people.

It would be great to have an option to multi delete rather than doing it one by one.

Friend list was originally designed so that both players can keep their track and freely communicate. If something like accident happens, then it's that person's fault.. However, if you delete someone for a reason that you hate that player, especially in OP case. You might want to block that person, and only in that situation, It's completely justified that the other person will no longer see your name on friend list. But I don't think deleting someone from the list should automatically separate both players - and there are many reasons for that.
