Can something be done about TT Tournament?

The only way to prevent match-fixing would be to have a GM oversee every game played between players in a tournament. This is not going to happen. Triple Triad is a mini-game with a voluntary weekly "tournament" that's exists solely to reward prizes. You can't use the duty finder since so few people actually participate in the tournaments to begin w/. The most likely players to exploit the system are those who are most interested in playing triple triad anyhow.

you would find alot more people would actually do the tourneys if SE actually did somethin about the win trading cheaters.. most people dont bother due to the fact win traders always take top spot

I have 129 cards.

I'm missing cloud(Bought fenrir first xD) and some dungeon cards. And ofcourse. 2 cards that are only obtainable from the TT tournament. Getting 1st/2nd/3rd place is not an option since its always the same people who take it.
Now i've grinded my teeth through some NPCs. I remember one particilar npc took me over a week of non-stop grinding and i ended up with over 150k MGP by just the rewards of winning alone. And this was not even a time'd NPC so i could go full mode crazy on it.

But this TT crap takes the cake. Every week i'll participate. Well knowingly i will not get 1st/2nd/3rd. But hoping that the cards will drop from the few packs that i get. Nope nope nope.

I honestly think this is a slap in the face of people who actually try to do stuff the legit way.
I'm saving up for Cloud as we speak and if i get cloud and by that time i still have not had the luck of getting these cards from this crappy TT i might just give up honestly.

I still hold that the real solution to the Tourney, for the few of us that are card collectors, is to place the four cards onto NPC's to play against for them. Restoring Taru solves half the problem, plop a new NPC at the table next to Rowena for the other two and problem solved. I'll happily grind a difficult NPC because it puts the ability to get the cards into my hands. I can invest as much or as little time as I want.

Coincidently last night I got Tidus from my two bonus packs for being part of the tourney. That puts me at 1/31 for the platinum packs on the four 5-Star cards. It was a total surprise, and certainly brightened my evening.
