I just read through the patchnotes and am really amused.

reading through all the nerfs in A3S, hell, you could just wipe off that Savage and call it a day.

SE pullled teeth from every single wiping mechanic, buff with echo of 10%, while people can easily obtain gear that overgears the instance by far.

Someone else think they slightly overshoot the target?

Whatever to the nerfs, it's just glamour content at this point in the games cycle.

I just don't get why it's added to the duty finder. They could give it 30% echo, it doesn't matter, DF groups aren't going to clear that

The only nerf that made sense was regarding Mucilage, since you can't guarantee having enough stunners to deal with that mechanic otherwise with the kind of jobs DF can throw you.

Similar to the High Voltage nerf of T1-2 which needed two Silencers minimum, although they went a little overboard and nerfed that attack completely into the ground.

Silence works on mucilage too.

The only classes that can't disable it are SMN and BLM. (But with the HP of the Piston Lubricants reduced, Mucilage's cast timing moved back, the addition of 10% echo, and better gear, they should be able to kill the adds before bad things happen. Or, they can LB the adds like some groups did back before this nerf.)

Useless content being nerfed, just an other day in eorzea.

If anything, I'm more curious about the lack of AS4 nerf when the entirety oc the playerbase cheeses this fight. Noone does the mechanics, what's the point of keeping them in game if the cheese isn't fixed ?

I am just sad... my static formed in october and we had to reform entirely until we found our current team in january that we could finally start into A3S. We gave our best but got to maximum the Embolus (constantly) before patch. After the patch there was so many stuff to do for everyone so we lost A3 out of sight.
This week i decided we should try get a clear BEFORE nerfs but due to schedules we can only do it this friday :´(
In the team I am only one that cleared b4 nerf and I wanted so darn for the others to achieve same

Seeing T7 nerf hurt me already... but there I still have mechanics in its original in savage... A3S well it IS the savage version

Nerfs don't really matter, the people who could clear this content unnerfed, done it ages ago, nerfing this isn't a massive issue, nothing amazing can come from clearing this fight now.

With every hard aspect of it nerfed, how is it not going to be easy?

which is why there's no reason to nerf it? there's no reason to even clear it, anymore. the only people that still care, are the people who wanted to clear it for the challenge...well apparently/supposedly there's no challenge anymore...so no reason to clear it.
it's called SAVAGE, what's the purpose of that tag, if it's not difficult?

How many people play this game and play their classes to the standards and levels of the world first groups?

I don't have a number, but I would imagine it's not many.

does everyone want to dedicate hundreds of hours wiping to a fight which has 0 meaning anymore? no, I don't imagine they do, gear rewards? wow standard lore gear smashes it, user titles? oh yeah there are none,

Gordias savage 3&4 hold no relevance now beyond wanting a test that isn't so brutally unforgiving as it used to be, it's just catering to the majority,

the people who could clear this back when, have cleared, there is no prestige left, but on the same token, there is no real gain in leaving these fights open to those who might want to do them when they both ended so many groups
