I had an odd situation the past few weeks with an undersea cable down, seriously affecting latency/ping times. Decided to try a test to see what difference latency makes. Fun things to post while waiting for maintenance to end

unfortunately I didn't get as many figures as I'd hoped, as my pings went back to normal today sooner than expected, but quite an eye-opener based on what I did write down

lunaris rod/ilvl 211

pings: 242-262

pass 1: 1193.54 DPS
pass 2: 1178.90 DPS
pass 3: 1247.79 DPS
(av 1206)

I did quite a few more of these I didn't write down, but the figures were quite consistent, mainly seeing 1170-1190ish and the odd 1230-40)

======================
pings: 105-109

pass 1: 1281.07 DPS
pass 2 : 1392.46 DPS
pass 3 : 1272.58 DPS
pass 4 : 1382.45 DPS
(av 1332)

seems whether you average, or just compare lowest-lowest and highest-highest, you're losing roughly 10% DPS over 150ms additional latency. These figures are only a day apart, so I'm pretty sure I didn't magically improve over that one day.

the rotation is pretty standard as far as I'm aware, no pots or food or fc buffs, etc.
if I can remember off the top of my head, very basic:

LL -> T1 -> SHP -> F1 -> ENO -> RS -> F4x3 -> FS -> F4x3 -> TC (or T1) -> B3 -> B4

F3 -> F4x2 -> F1 -> F4x2 -> TC (or T1) -> B3 -> B4

stuff like swiftcast and TC/FSs used situationally as well. If there's improvement to be made I'm open to suggestion, but I'm more concerned with the DPS going down as the latency goes up (all else being equal)
