"Swear to me!" - A showcase of your Dark Knights and experiences thus far.

My Dark Knight glamour. It mostly consists of Odin armor, but with the Law Headpiece. When dyed black, the gold accents on the headpiece match the armor pretty perfectly.

Pretty generic... except I am contemplating another look. I noticed the Allagan coat is being used a little bit much these days - not that I am complaining.

That's for two reasons. The first is that it is a lot easier to get these days with an unsync'd party (or you can just pay for it, if you're a gillionaire and too noobish to just get the clear). The second is that the Heavy High Allagan Coat of Fending is still one the sexiest Tank coats in the game. It's sleek, good for both genders, and goes with practically EVERYTHING. Seriously, you could slap damn near any weapon in the game onto that coat and it will be a good match, even in its default colours. It's a shame we haven't gotten any tank coats that are up to this standard since Second Coil (though the Final Coil coat was also pretty darn nice, in it's day).

The biggest problem with the Dreadwyrm Armor of Fending is that it has... curious placement of the wings. It's one of the reasons I've stopped using it, I can't stomach seeing the wing on the front clip into Sakura's shoulder while she's a Dark Knight. It just looks wrong. I didn't mind the wing so much, but that was on Pld or War. Drk didn't exist at the time, so it probably wasn't designed with that in mind. I think the biggest problem I had with the dreadwyrm set, though, was the colour. It wasn't as universal as the high allag set. It did go exceptionally well with Ramuh's weapons, but some of the others clashed a little.
