Probably. Do so at your own risk.
GMs don't even know. One will ban you for it, one will shrug it off as nothing.
One player will buy it from you, another doesn't care either way and one will go crazy and report you 10 times even if you are taking a loss on it. I am sitting on a med house, just letting it sit there empty until it reclaims just for this reason. Someone would likely love to have the spot, but I am not chancing a ban over it.
The reasoning I've heard as to why some GMs don't like this practice is that you aren't making a secure or enforceable transaction. When you "sell a house" what you're really doing is accepting a payment in exchange for agreeing to relinquish the house while the other person is present. There is no mechanism to enforce that you will actually do this, and nothing can stop another player from stepping in and buying the property first.
Thank you all for your quick reply and I appreciate it very much. I will let my friend know. Hope you all continue to enjoy the game.![]()
