Is your server good, bad, or in between?

Just out of curiosity, how is your server? Recently I stopped being lazy and pursued my first 60 craft class. Went to look at prices for the unique gear sets and seen the price ranges from 7-10 million per piece. I'd certainly say that if you wanted to craft at a high level on Jenova it's not every friendly or even remotely beneficial.

As for raiding, well we have one server first group that I'm aware of and that's it. A few higher end raiders, hardly any midcore and a mass of players who don't actively raid. None of the higher end or server first groups really even try to help out anyone else either.

There is a few good moments though, like tonight someone offered free melds all day for all classes. Sometimes players will do huge discount sales through pf, that's only cause how bad our market is though.

Overall I give Jenova a D-

You can't exactly do anything here, the end game is very unfriendly and not many people are willing to help out. But when something goes your way that old saying "like a kid in a candy store" certainly is a good tagline for the server and community.

-EDIT- Forgot to add PvP but given Jenovas PvP it's really easy to forget that aspect of the game. Seriously, I haven't seen a PvP pf or heard of a PvP linkshell in about a year now. That might change with this patch but history would suggest otherwise.

Were the crafting gear pieces fully melded and high quality? They tend to run 10,000,000 on Ultros when fully melded and HQ. The mats for those pieces are shenanigan filled to get, rare, and expensive.

Nope just HQ, typically here on Jenova melded gear is worth double and usually people won't meld unless you tip the higher the materia the higher the tip. 9/10 you won't even see non HQ craft or glamour items on the board. I think the HA Replicas were running about 8 million as well. Jenova isn't the place to be if you are poor lol.

Just took a peek at MB for crafting gear and the range seems to be about 1.5m-10m depending on slot and if it is pre-melded so.. pretty good I think for Midgardsormr. We also have a pretty large gathering/crafting LS going and people are really good about melding for free/crafting i150 stuff free for people as long as they provide materials.

edit: I don't know much about the raiding community as that's not an area of the game I focus on, but in general most people seem to be good folks.

Unmelded HQ seems to run 2,000,000 - 3,500,000 on Ultros. And here I thought we were pricey. Jenova gets the win there (if it's a win.) I don't think we have much demand for those tools given price anyway. We seem to have more demand for the materials to make the tools than the tools themself.

On Odin here -
Our Market Board is on drugs. In one day anything can happen. Sometimes Porcinis are 15K, sometimes 5K sometimes under 1K for example.
Raid scene is very much alive and healthy, so are FCs, there's lots of competition here in general. Our pugs do clear the content at lightspeeds though, so being late for new content train can be rather easy.

I would say I'm satisfied with where I am.

On Shiva it's ok I guess though I'm not really in the position to give a serious overall rating.

The crafting sets vary between 1.5 - 4+ mil, materials are quite expensive from time to time but expensive is something based on Poistion I guess. (I'm at about 9 mil now which is the highest I ever got but there are ppl with pretty much maxed out pockets so yeah)

For Raiding I'm not to sure but I don't think it's a pro server I might be wrong here though. I know 4 groups/ppl of those groups that beat A4S but other than that no idea.

Still happy on it RMT got really low over the last 2 months and I'm doing perfectly fine as a solo Player

Can't speek for my server to well since I got way to behind on crafting but a lot of the new ilv220 gear HQ droped from 5-7mil (day 1) to 2-3mil (day 6) so crafting wise we got a lot of end game lv ones

as for Raiding I do see recuitment parties in PF (1 a day at min) plus several EX clear/farm parties but mostly for Heavensward trials (occational 2.55 probably for Kettle quest)

Community wise, I'd say were eather ok or good since most rude players are only on during peek hours (NA's PM time) which I'm almost never on for

I don't know if it's necessarily good/bad, and this is only my own viewpoint, but my server is quite divided. Most of the experienced raiders are in a handful of FCs and only run any content with each other, even roulettes, organised through a few linkshells. Everyone else is left to their own devices.

A shame, but I don't blame anyone individually. People outright ignore PF requirements, eg joining farms when they have no idea of fight, so sticking with people you know is the only way of getting anything done now.
