BLM Thunder Damage number



Is there a bug with the floating combat text on Thunder?
When I cast any spell except Thunder spells, I can see what damage they hit for and if it was a normal or Crit.

But with Thunder, I cannot see the damage upon impact, only the DOT tick damage.
This is pretty annoying as I cannot see if the Thundercloud Proc I cast hit normal or Crit, so I know not to clip that DOT if another Cloud procs shortly after.

Is this a bug, as I cannot find anything in the settings for this
This happened either on patch 3.2 or a hotfix shortly after.

I also dont see the damage that Freeze does either. I have also reset to Defaulth character UI settings but this did not help.

Posted this in the support channels too but have received no response on this matter. Any other BLMs out there who has nothiced the same thing?

Edit: I have tried other classes I have that has DOT damage, and it seems to also dont show the amount of damage the inital hit does. When I was on warrior, if i used Storms Path alone, I saw initial number, but when I went through the combo chain and then used it, I only saw the Combat Text say: +Storms Path, but no damage.


As you can see on the picture below, it only shows the Thunder symbol and the + Thunder. I have just added the damage numbers in Yellow to show how I usually saw how Thunder and Thunderclouds hits looked like.


Same happens with Blizzard, Blizzard 2 and Freeze.


But NOT with Blizzard 3 or 4

What is going on? this is something I noticed happen right after Patch 3.2 so I wonder if this is a Working as Intended change with the patch, or a Bug
