Customize Mount Roulettes

Anyone ever hit your mount roulette button over and over again until you get a mount that you actually want to ride? Maybe there's 1-2 mounts that you just don't like and wish you could just go back in time and NOT use the item to summon it?

I know I would absolutely love to customize my mount roulettes. For my normal mount roulette, I'd probably pare it down so that all I could get would be horses. For the flying mount roulette all I really want to see are dragons, falcons, and the griffin.

Looking into this issue would/should be low priority, but I'd like to request that it be looked into.

Running = Markab


Though yeah it'd be nice if there were some kind of like... checkmark you can place next to things you want. Something like that. Maybe I'd use it then?

That's exactly what I was thinking. Mounts are basically just glamours we can ride. Mechanically, the ground mounts are the same and the flying mounts are all the same. They look different, but all handle the same and have the exact same speed. Just as some glamours aren't for everyone, not all mounts are for everyone. We're all bound to have our own preferences, and the pool of mounts that these roulettes draw from grows ever larger.

I would love this, and its the only thing I dislike about the roulette. Having to hop off the ahriman to get another mount, only to get ahriman again -.-

For me it's Chocobos. Always the Chocobos. I swear, it's not a roulette when you're getting Chocobos 60% of the time.

This is why I have 10 mount buttons showing on my action bars. Easier to click what you like at the time than recast roulette.

No, I just open my mount guide.

If I played mouse/keyboard then yes, this would be an option. Hotbar real estate for controller players is rather valuable. Setting up an entire hotbar dedicated just to mounts just wouldn't be pragmatic.

I put my current favorite on a specific button on my hotbar, and I have two hotbars just for mounts so that when I'm feeling specific (I want to ride Kirin! I want to ride Rose Lanner!) I can just pull that one out.

But I totally feel this. I hit the aerial mount and get a chocobo more than 50% of the time, I swear, and I have 22 aerial mounts. Only 6 of those are chocobos...it's ridiculous.

Why not? O_o You can use the 5th/6th hotbar, it's not like they're being used for anything else.
