3 Star + 2 Star Crafting Macro for patch 3.2

The equivalent for MuMe would be that and two PbP leaving 498 progress to go. Ing2+Name+Brand might get there with high enough Craftsmanship (it does for 2 star on the lokyst.net simulator, but I can't test on 3-star right now) but that's a lot of stuff to throw onto the end.

I did not try to work out a rotation without the simulator, but I assumed the progress would be more or less the same. I didn't consider how much it diminishes that last Piece by Piece.

It's simpler and has less to react to, but those are the only advantages.

That sounds to me like the primary criteria for a good macro.

I mean, it's fine to automate your rotation because you just don't feel like looking at the screen and pressing buttons (we all do that), but I am not sure that kind of macro is going to be of much benefit to other people.

there are no good MACROs listed here for 3 stars: None of them gaurantee 100% hq. A few of them do offer a shorter rotation which is super convenient (esp if you're an ALC spc). If you want a higher rate of success though you want to make the rotation longer and take advantage of whistle ( its expensive initial cost and is based on RNG, BUT with only one use of satisfaction it makes nymeia's wheel more cp efficient than manipulation, master mend 1&2, wn1, wn2 ....makes it MOST CP EFFICIENT CP FOR DURABILITY SKILL...EVVEERRR).

Now the clear drawbacks from the use of whistle is the RNG and COST and if you dont get a satisfaction ( technically get whistle stacks down to at least x8) you'll have to hit the worst CP/durability in game or just forfeit 36 wasted CP....hence why I said more steps is to your advantage when using whistle. For those that are completely unfamiliar with the use of Whistle to get 1 satisfaction only requires TWO GOOD CONDITIONS.....just 2...... (that's highly probable with any 20+ step rotation).

The problem with Whistling isn't just not reaching a profitable Nymeria's wheel. Its also about fundamental efficiency. RNG created in consuming satisfaction buffs while almost certainly assure you'll need to use one more SHII in your approach. Which is another 25 CP lost. Why whistle at all if you're trying to make up not only a 36 CP whistle but an additional 25 on another SHII?

Likewise with a proper non whistling approach you'll hit HQ... so why lengthen the time and complexity only to achieve the same result?

At this point whistle approaches are nothing more than adding fun. They are most definitely not more efficient. The one hypothetical real use would be if SE put in SUPER hard to HQ recipe book parts again. Where your best normal approach still falls short. In which case you might have more luck shooting for the optimal end of a good whistle. But I strongly doubt they'll put in recipe books that difficult every again. Anyway, the point is the best whistle can indeed drive more quality than your average non whistles top end. But on average whistles are notably less efficient... I tested the heck out of them eons ago and ran all the numbers just to be sure. On the bright side whistling does get slightly better as MaMa crafting rotations get longer (with 3 star crafts and beyond).

lol using one step for satisfaction doesn't result in a EXTRA 25 CP for SH2; one step will cost you 5 cp for the ONE step of SH2 u consumed.... and no you can't optimize sh2 that tightly.....calling BS on that.... And there is no "proper" way to HQ; its still range. (the probability of hitting 9+ HT @ 80% is wayy lower than 80% ....)

the macro i use has more safe progress and insert higher potency on HQ touches :3
i can have 4x fails on Flawless Synthesis for 100% progress.
my touches no 10, 11 and Byregot´s Blessing are under Ingenuity.
i only need 461 CP.
i can Reclaim on last macro step when i want, but never use it until now.

and it works for 3 star and 2 star just the ammount of Flawless Synthesis are diffrent for sure and able to do this rotation even with my ALC which only have 721 craftsmanship :3 of course with slightly less safty.
