Which region do you like?

My house is in Mist, I picked that spot because it has that Greek Island feel to it.

I live near the beach so I really have no desire to live near it in-game too. I do not like the desert either, my cousin lives in arizona and while I love him dearly I hate visiting his family lol. So I went with lavender beds which I like the forest cottage concept anyway (okay yes I am a sleeping beauty/rapunzel fangirl lol)

I also prefer lavender beds and am lucky to have a house there, the glowing plants and greenery are quite lovely imo.

I prefer the Lavender Beds through and through - and not just because it reminds me of my beloved Windurst from FFXI (right down to the giant tree in the middle!), and also not just because it's the residential area of the city Enki has sworn allegiance to... it's so serene and tranquil, I just love liviing there (it's where my FC family's house is located). Goblet is okay but a little bland with it's eight shades of brown stone everywhere, and Mist is just too much "tacky seaside resort peddling to sleazy tourists" to me.

So the Lavender Beds will always be where my home is. ^^

Goblet's my favorite, and Lavender a close second. Would like Goblet even more if I could actually climb some of the larger structures around it. Way too used to hanging out in Lavender though, because that's where my FC housing is (and now my cottage as well).

I bought my house back when personal housing first became available. I went to each zone and looked around for the plot I liked best... not zone, just plot. I settled on the Goblet plot 13. Backs right up to the waterfall, on a ledge, near the middle, nice plant area next to it... Anyway, just loved the plot. Bought it, and now I can not imagine being in another zone. The Mist is ok, but it is just to... I dunna know, bland. Lavender beds is my least favorite as the paths don't make a lot of sense to me, and tend to wind around in odd directions.
I will say that the Goblet has some really bad plots to balance out the amazing ones. Kind of like extremely good and extremely bad plots mixed together. Lavender Beds and Mist seem to have more balanced plots, so if space was a factor when I bought, I would have taken either. But since I had free choice of any plot, I chose Goblet plot 13.

Lavender Beds is my favorite (which I got a house in), then Mist and not Goblet at all. I get dizzy navigating the Goblet whenever I go there. I'd really like a more foggy dark forest area to have a house in.
