Midas is just a blast in my opinion, I can't wait to go home and dive back into it today with the reset. I think this really shows the strength of incorporating good, well-developed mechanics into a fight rather than just the massive DPS checks we had before. The DPS check doesn't add anything to the fight, it doesn't really force you to be active or attentive to what is going on and really it just lets you coast through the fight which is boring. I hope SE keeps up this level of raid in the future, it's really the most enjoyment I've had in fights in a long while.

If anyone answers this, I'd really appreciate it if it was hidden behind [hb] tags ^^; Am planning to do the Savage versions (since I love Midas so much more than I ever did Gordias) with friends at some point before they're completely outdated, and would prefer not to get information regarding mechanics. ♥ At least not in a thread that isn't dedicated to discussing Savage ;p
