Switched my main from MNK to DRG for this patch cycle and was curious if anyone knew any other min/maxing tips aside from holding your geirskgoul on your 2nd B4B.

^This is an image I compiled which breaks down most of the important information from the thread into a more digestible format.
To summarize, assuming you saw it and tl;dr'd it:
1. Delay IR/B4B/BL (generally) ~1s into the GCD so you get 7/9/9 gcds instead of 6/8/8 under the effect.
2. 3 gsk per minute, always. After the first B4B, every B4B should cover 2 casts of gsk in ideal circumstances.
3. Life Surge for the next Full Thrust, Fang and Claw (with positional) or Wheeling Thrust (with positional) after LS comes off cooldown.
4. In general, don't hold buffs or ogcd skills for any reason - yes, this includes holding PS+Jump or SSD for the following B4B. Don't do it, it's rarely a gain.
this isn't good general advice. it's fight dependent/raid pace , and even in a 100% dummy situation it can be favorable to hold certain oGCDs for BFB window. +30% dmg is pretty strong

It's absolutely fight-dependent, but the general rule of thumb is to hit things on cooldown, assuming an infinite-length (or even just an extended duration) of uptime. Holding stuff to maximize for 3 minutes is fine and dandy, but if you try to maximize every 3-minute chunk by holding things to stack it all, you'll come out of a 9-minute fight with a significant dearth of dps.
You need to know the duration of a fight before you can consider how to shift cooldowns to maximize. If any adjustment causes you to drop a use of that skill over the course of the fight, that's 9/10 times a dps loss over just using the skill on cooldown.
