dark knights should get a katana or sephiroth's sword

OP, I would recommend you get Balmung, the weapon bought with Rowena's tokens for doing the Extreme Primal weekly quest.

It's essentially what you're looking for.

Samurai battle stance is going to look like the traditional Samurai stance. Holding a katana in both hands in front of you, hands at level with your belly button with one foot planted forward.
Similar to Cloud's stance in FFVII.

It simply looks like a variation of a Zweihander to me. (The Zweihanders we have actually favor Real life Claymores while ingame Claymores raise my "BS Weapon Design" levels)

I would think it would look silly giving Darks katanas due to the fact Darks swing their blades super slow compaired to real samiuries though would be entertaining to watch XD

We're probably going to get samurai as a job at some point...so no to DRK's getting katanas. As far as giving them Sephiroth's version of Masamune, also no. What was special about that sword was that Sephiroth was the ONLY person who could use it. Doing this would just cheapen the sword. Now if you asked for Cloud's Buster Sword, I could get behind that idea 10000000%
