Gated healing question

The original context was from one of Mr. Happy's videos:
"Scholar: Strongest direct heals are highly gated"

Going off of Anova's explanation and common sense, it actually makes the most sense and confirmed what I thought:

So, "gated healing" is probably referring to Scholar Abilities, who has an Aetherflow Mechanic that powers most of its Healing abilities. These abilities don't cost mp, but you can only use 3 within a 60sec period. So those Scholar Abilities are "Gated" to 3 total uses every 60 seconds.

One other question; does Astrologian or White Mage have similar situations?
