Seems like it was just a really weird (and very confusing) way to let us know that they updated the assets or something on the 3rd of march..

That is the date that the assets were updated. It's a bit clearer on the JP Website where it says "3/3 - Updated"

Hopefully maintenance Wednesday night.

(To confirm what others have pointed out, the "3.3" you see on the Patch 3.2 site represents March 3, the date this information was updated.)
