Okay, so I've been doing some PVP and I've noticed something interesting.

First, Materia.

All PVP gear has at least two slots for materia and has the descriptor "Materia effects active during PVP only."

On every PVP mode in the game, there is a clause that states "While synced, all item stats are adjusted. During PvP, materia bonuses are also ignored."

Kinda strange, seems like a Catch 22. Materia on PVP gear can only be used in PVP, but no materia can be used in PVP.

Then there's Morale.

Morale is a stat unique to PVP that increases the ilvl of gear when in PVP equal to the morale stat value.

However, every Level 50 area is ilvl synced to 80 and every level 60 area is ilvl synced to 150, rendering the morale on the newer gear completely moot in another Catch 22.

Would like to get a legit answer for this from someone in the know. Is this just an oversight or am I missing something myself?
