Was in a group helping someone get their Bismarck EX clear and it dropped. So...1/1! I should probably quit while I'm ahead.
(Except not really, I didn't win the lot =( )

My Bismarck bird dropped on the second run and I won with an 86. Hooray! It's all RNG man.
The easier an item is to acquire the less value it contains. These are currently the highest valued items in the game, so yes - of course they're going to have a super-low drop rate.
Droprate is about the same as others have said when the original Primal mounts were introduced. You know what even has worst drop rate? The Nightmare mount, that is the one mount they never increased drop rate for
I wish it dropped on average once every 10 million runs, and Square Enix NEVER buffed the drop rate. No, I'm serious. Make all ponies and falcons that drop rate, and remove the ponies and falcons from everyone that has one so far, and that means getting rid of Kirin from each account with it and resetting the questline to unlock it. And Nightmare, should drop on average once every 500 billion runs. And again, I'm serious.
White Mage ~ Scholar ~ PaladinBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
I got Bismark and Rav both on my 4th run of each. Thus, we can conclude the drop rate is 25%!
My super duper unpopular opinion that will win me no friends on the forums is to keep the drop rate as is and nerf freaking Final Liberation on Ravana. Guilds mostly have him on farm anyway.
But this poor wizard uses Duty Finder.
90% of the time it's smooth sailing and then the party wipes on Final and we use the Healer Limit Break. It is incredibly annoying.
Yes, yes, I know how to do it. Yes, yes "git gud"
The problem with that move is when just one person doesn't know where to stand it's game over and Duty Finders are inherently chaotic and full of little to no communication.
So my point is: Keep bird drop rate the same on Bizzy and Rav. Nerf Rav's Final Liberation so the lone wolves of the world can at least see the bird not drop.
If you want to cheese it, why not just tank LB it? You don't even need to pass the preys! My super duper unpopular opinion that will win me no friends on the forums is to keep the drop rate as is and nerf freaking Final Liberation on Ravana. Guilds mostly have him on farm anyway.

Though if you don't have him dead by the time he does it, you may wanna 'git gud' so to speak.

Why don't you just PF it ?
When i was farming my Ravana mount i've been hosting my own PF for 3 days straight as WHM ( 1 Tank, 1 heal, 6 DPS ) and unless someone screw up or has bad DPS, Ravana dies before he finishes casting Swift liberation.
I don't even know why you prefer to go through the DF nonsense.
Im now Farming Bismarck with the standard 1heal 2 Tank 5 DPS and he generally dies the second time we go on his back. ( Can some times be on the first time if the DPS is very good ). People still screw up in the water phase and get hit by the debuff or fall off during wind phase, even to this day, so there is no absolute way i would ever DF it.
