Jenova crashed causing data or time to be lost

Hi, I was helping my sister in the Sea of Clouds open her flying up in that area when Jenova crashed. She was riding on my two seater Draught Chocobo when it happened. I seem to be fine but when she returned to the game, she was placed in an area where was she maybe a half hour ago during that time and riding her mount. The aether currents she touched were untouched when she came back. Has this happened to anyone with data lost or time lost? Will this affect my sister's account?

Not sure how person would lose 30 minutes of data cause the system saves data like every 15 seconds.
