Rules+ Red turn + Blue turn.
Animation of card being placed.. All take to much time when playing 45 games for tournament.

Commendations.
If I play dps I only give it out to other dps.
If I play tank I only give it out to healers.
If I play healer I only give it out to tank.
Only if they should be getting a commendation.
There are always exceptions to the rules!
What? A game takes less than a minute. The "animation" for a card being placed takes 1 second, maybe slightly less. I did my 45 games this week in about 35 minutes. if you think that's too long, go do something else. It's fine the way it is.
Then length of the card tournament is annoying, since they buffed it up as a countermeasure to cheating that clearly didn't work. I completely lost interest in the weekly card tournament due to the amount of time it takes, the low chance of getting a decent reward or payout, and the fact I'll never make the top 20 due to win trading. 15-20 matches would be fine, but 45+ is just annoying.
I think this is the Gold Saucer's mantra, and if you pay attention, you'd notice that everyone is following your advice and doing something else because it ISN'T fine. I have honestly spent more time playing Triple Triad in FF8 than in FF14 SINCE the release of Gold Saucer.
Its dead content, ignored by the majority that use daily cactpot to farm their MGP for the occasional new MGP reward.
Restrictions on when you can play, restrictions on who you can play, and restrictions on how you can play. Everyone, go do something else. Best advice.

Would you say set a 5 second time limit to make your moves as well?
I'm in agreement with Odd tbh, it's fine as it is.
White Mage ~ Scholar ~ PaladinBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
I would prefer a forfeit button for when DF pops.
