Macro's that are actually useful ?

I wish more warriors would use berserk macros when I'm on my bard character. I love using wanderers but I can never tell when they used berserk since party list only shows up to 5 buffs.

They have to be...well..not obnoxious though. My friend has a macro, it's literally just "Used Berserk" with a ping.
That's it. That's all I need, honestly. I don't need a countdown, I don't need fifty notifications that it's going to happen.

Just one line, please.

I just ignore em and continue being busy with something else. His loss of dps for all of 2 hits isn't going to affect us or make the clear any faster. The 1 time warning tho, no problem, will gladly cover ya all day long.

\Any in-battle macros are also going to impede your flow over time as they can't queue like an ability can. Even if it's just to announce you've done something. I can't tell you how often a Provoke macro never actually used Provoke, ending in a very dead other tank.

I wish they change it such that if the macro only have one action line in it, it can be queue. So provoke, raise, virus, e4e and the tank's "oh shit!" cd actually go off as they should...

You know, so I can have a macro that pop Living Dead and highlight to my healer so they don't let me die from Walking Dead later... or from the macro failing to execute. /sigh

If a Tank had a macro like that, and I was a healer DPS. I would literally just pull for them.

And if I were the tank I'll just let the mobs bite your face off and wipe while laughing. Then again, I don't have a pull macro and even if I did I wouldn't use it outside of raid/trials.

Has SE ever mentioned why their macro system doesn't queue?

For SMN/SCH the macros that swap pet abilities on your bar when you summon a pet are pretty nice. Those are the only macros I use, though.

i have an entire hotbar macro system setup so i can change classes in two button presses instead of a letter press and like 4 mouse clicks
/micon 1 gearset
/gs change 1
/hotbar display 8

etc etc. i change classes often cuz crafting/gathering, and indecisive so its useful for me anyway
