Red script cap is near crippling to new crafters

Hello! I found the new patch to be very odd, in that to use or make anything from the new master IV books, it requires several pieces of red script gear crafted/bought.

There *seems* to be no catch up mechanic. Desynth does not seem to yield materials needed to make the 170 crafted gear. *maybe an oversight?* I have no idea why law gear does not desynth into them. And there was no cost reduction to the amount of red script tokens needed for purchasing gear.

It's heart crushing to tell new crafters that sure it's fine if you want to craft for fun. But that they will not be able to make any useful items *raid gear wise, or to help out* before it is obsolete. Since they need about 50-60 red script tokens. *at the very least* At 9 a week that won't happen. Since even the mats to even try to make a 170 piece also cost red scripts, *strange since a lot of mats for 220 cost eso*

Any thoughts are welcome, especially if you have found any workarounds for this problem.

If they aren't going to remove the cap they should just move the older items to require blue scrip instead.

I reached 60 on my crafters around Jan 1. In the two months sense I've been able to push to just about all OH & MH crafted, 4/8 bodies, 3/8 heads, all accessories. Enough to be two-star in all classes, and 3-star in my specialists. I still have a ways to go to future proof myself for the next patch. But while its taken a while it does feel like I'm catching up faster than new stuff comes out. Took ~1 week to go from 2-star to 3-star.

But the i180 red scrip gear is a trap, IMO.

Yeah, don't get the red scrip crafter gear, just the gatherer gear, use the crafting tokens for getting the favor mats so you can craft the i170 blue gear. You need melds for crafting gear, at least most of it.
