R9 380 DX 11 Crash Problem!!

I've got an R9 270, and I have the same problem. I spoke with them yesterday, and in short, they know there's a problem, they just don't want to fix it. They said to try running it in windowed mode, because that's how everyone prefers to play their games, right? :-)

Jotah... I feel your pain. I play in windowed mode, and it doesn't solve this issue. Like I said, I've tried EVERYTHING recommended to me by various support from SE/FFXIV/AMD, as well as everything I've researched that could potentially fix the problem. Still, no luck ;(. It's not on my END! It seems every TIME I've talked to FFXIV/Square Enix support on this issue they just tell me to play on the DirectX 9 Client... If I wanted to just play FFXIV with the DirectX 9 client..
Then I would have just bought a lower end graphics card that doesn't support DirectX 11. If the graphics card SUPPORTS DirectX 11, then IT SHOULD BE ABLE TO RUN FFXIV with their DirectX 11 client!

Please FFXIV Devs... DO SOMETHING TO FIX THIS in a PATCH!! Also.. it would be nice to hear from someone on the dev team to acknowledge that they realize this problem exists, and are at least working on it?.

Yeah I have a R9 290x and if I play in DX11, the game freezes when I teleport or Alt-tab to do something else. DX9 works fine. When HW first came out, it worked great in DX11, however, after one of the earlier hotfixes or patches is when the issue started and nothing I have done seems to fix the issue. I wish some one would look into this issue so it can be fixed. Hate to have to buy a new card just to get it to work.
