    Where are Pine logs

    been logging in coerthas but havent found any in forever

    Pine is no longer used in any of the new recipes, so it was phased out, just like Lauan, Willow, Cedar, and Chestnut. These logs can no longer be obtained.

    This is one thing I really don't like about this last update. They simplified gathering to much. I don't get why these logs just couldn't be used for Grand Company supplies. I don't like how one area just grants me 1 log now I enjoyed the concept of analyzing each area and figuring out what the main resource of each tree was. If anything for said logs that have been phased out jsut may it so they are only NQ and eliminate the HQ factor of those. At least then there is a sense of "junk loot" but at the same time said loot could be used by the Grand Company as they see fit since adventurers can't utilize them.

    I think we've damaged the Eorzea environment by over-logging already!

    Hmmmm... maybe this is why all the aetherytes are going whacko, that Ifrit is trying to save the environment by kill those poachers and loggers, and why some tree types are disappearing off certain zones (hell even the whole continent) entirely! Someone save the trees!
