Dawnborn/Duskborn aethersand - droprates off?

Hello, everyone

I've been trying to get some aethersand lately - specially dawnborn (we all know thats the interesting one) and the specific ones for the gathers (leafborn etc.) - Now I've got two stacks of duskborn sand - and got maybe around 40 dawnborn (aswell as leafborn etc. - heck, I even believe I got more of thoser after all!). Am I doing anything wrong? Is there any method to shift the droprate more to the dawnborn? Am I just terrible unluck? (I know the sample size is to small - but has anyone else noticed this... unbalance between those two?)

If you gather collectibles with <600 GP, you will end up with a lot of dusk, and very few dawn.

How I gathered them, back when I actually cared to:

<600 GP - if one of the rare/hidden pops, back off and wait on 600 GP, otherwise 1x MA/IA/any appraisal works > 3 collects

600 GP - IAx2 >

• if neither procs, collect twice
• if one or both proc, SM > UC > IA > DE (SM if you've had 2 DEs already) > UC > MA > collect 1-2 times

Thank you very much - that was the advice I was looking for. Thats pretty much what I'm doing for leafborn - I was hoping it wouldnt be needed for dawn aswell but well... *sigh*

If the first discerning eye fails to proc on a level 60 item, use ageless words/solid reason, exit node, drink cordial, then try again. The level 58 items seem to drop dawnborn more often for me, i don't even bother with them anymore cause i'm always looking for landborn and leafborn.
