Hey guys, hope your all good. I need a little advice for this encounter. Got everything figured out properly except yesad flash + tower. I get caught by this 9/10 times. I've tried what the guides say, stand at edge of tower, wait for flash then run to opposite end inside tower, but still get caught, even when moving as soon as i see the flash.

Any guidance would be appreciated, as this is easily becoming the most stressful part of the fight for me. If i get lucky and manage it, i see repeated phase no problem.

Hmm, that's exactly what I do and I don't normally get hit. Is the Yesad pillar killing you or something?

What CD are you using for the tower?

if possible, i tend to use vengeance and hit an inner beast just as the adds appear. It's strange as i don't get caught by any other yesad during the entire encounter.

edit - also saw xenosys vex guide that shows him standing in center till fist hit/flash then running out. is this a viable option?www

With such a high rate of occurrence (9/10). Do you by chance have a latency problem? In my case, I needed a new graphics card because animations would load half a second later than everyone else...that literally killed me every time in Titan until I upgraded.

Nah shouldn't be an issue mate PS4 player. and i think it's something to do my actions rather than anything else, as i can dodge every other yesad in the encounter no problem xD

You dont have to stand in the circle at the start, I bait the stone pillar just outside the circle, wait for flash then run clockwise inside the circle, I also ready equilibrium as soon as I get hit by tower.

if i ever die during this part its because of pug healers. i just stand on the edge. im a drk and pop dark mind, convalescence, and shadowskin. once i see the flash i start moving to the other end of the circle and after he slams i keep moving to stack the adds. i play on ps4 as well. youre either encountering a heal issues, not enough cds and dying to everything at once, or not moving fast enough.

As a PLD this is a non-issue for me with HG, but my personal way of doing it is standing outside the tower when it spawns then running through it in one continuous motion so he slams his fist down while I'm in the tower then I just keep moving so the yesod doesn't get me, requires good timing but it works for me.

Maybe its lag, i stand inside the tower circle on the edge and simply run to the other side still inside the circle and dont get hit.

Pretty sure the tower+flash is all physical damage. As far as I know the only magic damage directed at the tank specifically in this fight is Da'at.
