What happened to my private room?

I stopped playing the game for some months, and now that I'm back my private room inside our guild house is gone. Everything costed me a little fortune to get, and some items were seasonal items. I don't craft or play the market so I'm broke all the time, so buying those items were costly to me. Do I get my items back?

English is NOT my mother language, French is. Use my recruitment code MV9YGNXD before paying your sub and get cool items. http://sqex.to/Cz9

Your FC house probably hadn't had anyone actually use it for over 90 days, so the land was automatically repossessed and the house demolished. It was a function that players begged SE to implement so as to free up land for new houses, given that there are plenty of houses that were sitting unused and empty for years and plenty of players desperate to get a house of their own, and was added to the game a couple of months ago.

The furnishings from your room should be held by the Residential Caretaker in each residential area - speak to him to get your items back. Just bear in mind that some items are unrecoverable and are lost for good (the sort of items that are destroyed if you put them down once and then try to pick them up again).

From the wording of the post, his FC house is still there and only his room is missing. In that scenario, most likely one of your FC's leadership deleted the room.

As Enkidoh said, talk to the residential caretaker and you can recover most of your items (there is a time limit in which the caretaker holds stuff though so act fast).

Can you actually demolish somebody's room though? Without kicking them from the FC at the same time?

    Didn't try that till now.
I'm a FC leader and will try it later and will then edit this post.

Maybe the relinquishing feater works not only for privat houses but for privat rooms too?

    Edit:
Tried to delete the privat room of one of my members, but couldn't find an option to do this in several rank options and submenues in the FC house and the privat rooms.

Maybe a bug, your account was hacked, you got kicked from the FC or the FC has relinquished his old hous and bought new land and build a new house.

I just wanted to point out that from the implementation of FC only housing to the announcement of reclamation was only 22 months. Housing didn't make it two years before reclamation was announced, and the extreme lack of housing only came after the subdivisions filled(launched a year before reclamation announcement) from the swarm of players trying to buy their own house(released 13 months before reclamation announcement). I know it's small, but I don't want the community to remember some historical inaccuracy about the progression of FF updates, as we toiled for many years without a home to call our own, eager for vacant plots to be cleared by a benevolent developer.

The biggest issue, as it has been pointed out by many people, was really the high demand of personal housing and the lack of plots to address it. When housing launched for FCs only, with 450 plots per server, it took about eight months for them to add another 90 per server, and many servers still had open plots in certain areas at that point. Then when personal housing was added two months after that, with only an extra 180 homes per server, it became incredibly obvious how ill-considered the implementation was. That's why only a month later they doubled the number of plots, coming to a total of 720 extra added to try and meet that demand, and it lasted for a few months still.

However, about three to sixth months after the subdivisions, with no new wards or subdivisions in sight, that's when the player base started clamoring for reclamation, which at that point was only six to nine months before it was announced. Call it impatience, call it an obvious sign that the system failed, call it whatever you will; except for "years". We, as a community, couldn't even make it one year with personal housing released and no plots available, before we started to turn on our peers, looking to get what we wanted -now-.

Sounds like your FC bought a new house.

I'm sorry for your loss and hard work.
