Coming into its Own [How are you faring with it?]

Pretty bs grind for players who doesn't have time in their hands.

Ah... it really is a long grind and I'm still working on it. So far I've gotten 45/80 Tokens collected and 0/16 HQ Items (my server doesn't have a lot of the MB and seem to be SUPER expensive... well I only have a little over 1 million Gil so I can't buy all of the items without going broke and not hitting Lv60 on all my crafts).

I have gotten 4/5 Aether Oil for the next step and come Tuesday I'll be ready for it... just grinding for tomes and BT Quests is making this very mind numbing for me. Even though I'm playing everything else, PVP, Roulettes, BT Quests, TT, Chocobo Racing... I'm so bored out of my mind. Perhaps I should take a break, but this isn't becoming fun anymore.

But I want to get my NIN Relic and I will get it. At least the Zodiac Relic was fun and not as mind-numbingly as boring as the Anima Relic.

Finished relic pretty quick honestly. Been doing PVP and eso there is a bonus lol(Doing it for the mount not for the eso) But yeah... Saving up for a 2nd relic now probably :-)

I honestly don't know what the next part will be like, but from what I've heard 3.3 will be the one were we can fiddle with the stats (and no Alexandrites to worry about.) I'm currently saving Materia just in case for that.

I really need to start saving that as well - I was selling it all to help fund the Coming into its Own step, but then got lucky with a couple music drops and surged ahead of what I needed to buy them outright (agree with Kiba, Faerie's prices are still floating pretty high...they didn't really budge at all after the specialist change as apparently happened on other servers)...still selling well enough and used that to fund some other music I wanted and a minion.

Might keep selling for another week or two, then begin the stockpiling process.

Of course, if it turns out they aren't needed and everyone else did the same thing...bye bye materia market for a while.

As for the step itself, about halfway through the tokens. Didn't do much progress (basically, none) through most of January and part of February from spending a lot more time in some other games before refocusing my efforts here. Still being fairly casual about it, I expect to finish by the end of April...

Would be sooner, but I know I'm gonna binge Dark Souls 3 when it comes out so that's up to a week of probably beast tribe quests only in this game.

26/80 after 10 days of grinding 5-6hrs a night M-F and at least 8 hours Sat/Sun.

It is quite the chore... not fun at all to get.

I got 48/80 Tokens so far, still nothing on the mats, and I've gotten 4/5 of the Aether Oils done.

The ilvl210 step is the worse one of them all, but I'm still going to finish it. Doing BT Quests and Roulettes for Tomes and Tokens and such, though I might have to do the Alex runs soon enough.

right now i have 29/80 Tokens. I have 9/16 HQ crafted items needed. An for step 4 I have 2/5 Aether Oils needed since im doing the towers since im still on step 3.

Got lucky with maps last night so now I'm only two ore away which I should have tonight.

With me taking a month or so off due to RL stuff, I finally finished my i210 MNK relic this past Sunday. I'm already at 1 oil, and after today I should be able to get two more. Considering how long it took for me with the previous step, this doesn't seem too bad. Good luck to everyone out there!!

How many drop from the Maps? I'm close to finish gathering the items except crafted ones and wondering how fast those are.
