I do hope they reduce the items needed... they're not hard to get just tedious and too many.

I wouldn't mind a questline that's easy to get the Relic weapon like the first part of the Zodiac Weapon and then do optional quests that's part of the Relic to added in special abilities and customize your own stats and the like but they are long to do as you need to do and collect a lot of stuff and perform some challenges too to forge your ideal Relic Weapon. Not Raid-Tier challenge but close enough. Just an idea I had where the Relic became more "legendary" and sought-out as you require the help of friends (which makes it go faster to complete) to make it or your can do it solo (but takes like 2 to 3 times longer to make).

I mean you're building your own ideal legendary weapon... surely it should become the top weapon after all the hardwork, effort, and time you put into. Raid Weapons should remain powerful, yes, because they're from the highest difficulty content in the game, but Raid Weapons are more "easier" to get and faster too where Relic Weapons should be the weapon that's the ultimate weapon... like the FFXI Relic Weapons I hear where it remained the strongest weapon in the game (apart from the last patches I hear). Just my thoughts on it.


Let's hope that the next part is a bit "lax", but I doubt it. I wonder why there's no preview Patch Notes at the moment.
